  I was born with brachial plexus. In addition to that I have scoliosis and herniated disc . My entire life I’ve seen different doctors for my back but my debilitating back pain was becoming unbearable . I sought treatment with a pain specialist, which was just basically masking the problem . I was given a referral to Dr. Giri after years of seeing a pain management doctor. My pain was off the charts and medication was not helping me anymore. My days consisted of lots of pain medication, muscle relaxers, and anti-inflammatories that I had to take on a daily basis just to get by. I knew I had to do something about my back. Dr Giri did an excellent job of examining me and ordering the appropriate imaging tests and nerve test. When the tests showed that surgery was necessary. Dr. Giri suggested a fusion. Because I had seen so many doctors in the past I had so many questions and I was hesitant on having surgery. He took his time and answered any, and all questions I had. He was very patient with me, understanding and very kind. He operated on my neck to remove the herniated disk and I promise you that same day I felt immediate relief. I felt that the surgery went very smoothly. Dr Giri also ordered physical therapy for me. I’ve had good results from the PT. My recovery is progressing on schedule and I am feeling so much better. I hadn’t smiled in such a long time that I almost forgot I had dimples in my cheeks. Thank you Dr Giri for giving me hope. I’m doing more things now and living life
